Although the Society
is called the "Bristol Masonic Society" it does not
have any actual membership boundaries, and Brethren from other
Provinces are more than welcome to join, attend our meetings,
and purchase our Transactions.
Membership is open to any Master Mason. Masonic regalia is not
worn at our meetings, which are held at Freemasons' Hall, in Park
Street and almost always begin at 7.00 pm.
Free membership is granted to any Master Masons
of the Province of Bristol, for one year after taking his Third
Degree.
The meetings usually involve the presentation of a paper on some
subject of Masonic interest, followed by a lively discussion,
which continues on into the meal which follows. There are no formal
"Masonic Toasts" at our meals.
